FAQs

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please respond by March 1st, 2026.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

The wedding ceremony begins at 4:00 PM, so we ask that you arrive 30-45 minutes earlier to get a chance to sign our guest book, mingle, and settle-in comfortably. Please note that because the procession entrance coincides with guest entrance for the ceremony, late attendees may be asked to wait before entering if it may impede the procession.

More details on the event timeline can be found here.

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate plus ones. Please understand that only our closest friends and family have been invited.

Are children invited?

While we love kids and understand what a huge blessing they are, we will be having a child-free wedding. We thank you for your understanding.

Do you have a gift registry?

Instead of a gift registry, we are opting for a NewlyWed Fund! This fund will go towards our honeymoon, furnishing our home, and hopefully (in the nearer future) inviting a dog into our family.

To contribute to our NewlyWed Fund, you can send an e-transfer to joyceandestevan@gmail.com. There will also be a box for cards and gifts at the guestbook signing area.

Make sure to add a note stating who it's from, so we know who to thank!

Is there parking available?

Yes! There is ample free parking at the venue. Please make sure to park in the Guest Parking spaces, and not the Members area when you arrive. Though you are welcome to leave cars parked overnight (don't drink and drive!), you are not allowed to sleep in your vehicle overnight.

More details on getting to the venue can be found here.

What should I wear? Anything I shouldn’t wear?

The dress code is cocktail! That said, you are free to dress as fancy as you'd like (the bride says the fancier the better). We also ask that you avoid wearing white or colours that photograph white. Thank you!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Since Vancouver weather is unpredictable in March, we’re going to have both the ceremony and reception indoors.

What’s on the menu?

Light snacks and refreshments will be served during cocktail hour.
A buffet-style dinner with vegetarian and pescatarian options will be served at 6:00 PM. Please make sure to list any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Are we getting lit?

That's up to you! We'll be providing one drink ticket per guest that can be used towards a drink of your choice (whether that be a "litty" drink or a crispy cola). You are free to purchase more drinks at the bar, should you choose the path of non-sobriety. Limitless coffee and tea will be provided!
